Iranian officials claimed on Tuesday that the Obama administration concocted a fact sheet on a landmark nuclear agreement that doesn't match what they endorsed over the weekend.
Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham said the version of the pact released by the White House 'is a one-sided interpretation of the agreed text in Geneva and some of the explanations and words in the sheet contradict the text of the Joint Plan of Action.'
At issue are several differences between the White House's summary of the accord and the plain text of the agreement between Iran, the U.S. and five other industrialized nations – specifically the administration's claim that Iran has agreed to stop enriching uranium for the next six months.
On Saturday evening the White House said in a statement that Western nations and Iran had 'reached a set of initial understandings that halts the progress of Iran's nuclear program and rolls it back in key respects.'
President Obama delivered an address 17 minutes later, announcing that under the agreement, 'Iran cannot use its next-generation centrifuges, which are used for enriching uranium.'
He also said the Islamic republic 'will halt work at its plutonium reactor.'
On Tuesday Iran released what it says is the actual agreement, and insisted it had made no such commitments.

The talks in Switzerland included Iran, Germany and the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council: the United States, Russia, China, the United Kingdom and France

'This agreement that has just been signed mentions that Iran is fully entitled to the right of enrichment and it will never quit its rights in the future,' Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said the following day in Geneva.

As reported on Saturday, INEC rescheduled Anambra guber election in 65 polling units for Sunday. But some parties, including the APC, demanded elections in 4LGAs – Idemili North, Idemili South, Awka South and Ihiala, where majority of voters were denied the opportunity to vote on Saturday.

At 11:00am, Chris Ngige addressed a press conference at Old English Hotel Awka. He says the APC will not participate in the ongoing rescheduled election in Idemili north, unless INEC do the right thing. INEC say the election must take place in only 65 polling units and went ahead to start the process.

On Monday night, I heard through the media, my purported suspension from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by the Alhaji Bamanga Tukur led National Working Committee (NWC). I have since gone through the press statement containing my purported suspension and have come to the conclusion that I should make a formal reaction to this latest act of impunity by a section of the party, that is clearly out to ridicule the judiciary, denigrate the rule of law and destroy the very basic foundation of constitutionalism in our country.

Tragedy struck again on Wednesday as two persons were killed while no fewer than nine others were injured after a tipper rammed into pedestrians at the U-turn end of the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.

Things have fallen apart finally in the troubled Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, according to Governor Murtala Nyako, who said the suspension of key members of the Abubakar Baraje-led faction, otherwise known as the new PDP has not only killed the peace process but has succeeded in burying it.

Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State now has the notorious reputation of having the most reckless convoys in and around Nigeria, as drivers working with him are well known for dangerous driving on the highway.

Eyewitness from Enugu State says cold-blooded, dare-devil robbers on Monday shot two persons dead while injuring two others with bullet shots in the leg. The dead were an MTN driver who distributes or sells MTN recharge cards to its customers and a tricycle (also known as Keke) driver.

The robbers according to the eye witness who would not want his name mentioned, said the MTN driver was intercepted close to Mbanugo Bus Stop by the robbers, after which they opened a close range shooting at him which resulted in the driver’s death and undisclosed amount of money and unsold MTN recharge cards were made away with.

This is like one of those stories you hear and you say "it's not true". But this incident was caught on a CCTV.

Men of Lagos Police Command has arrested a 23yrs old deadly robber, Prince Nwafor, with a visual recording of a robbery operation that he took part in. Psychiatrist says Australian woman who sparked worldwide appeal for her identity cannot be committed as a mental patient

A mystery woman found in Ireland dazed, unable to communicate and later identified as an Australian cannot be committed as a psychiatric patient, a court has been told.
Samantha Azzopardi, 25, has been in the care of health authorities in Dublin since concerns were raised that was she an Eastern European teenager who had been trafficked in to the country.
The High Court in Dublin heard psychiatrist Brendan Kelly found she is not suffering from a disorder classed under the Mental Health Act in Ireland.

The girl was found in a distressed state on O'Connell street in the Irish capital in a 'distressed state'

Identified: Irish police initially feared the girl was a victim of human trafficking but she is in fact a 25-year-old Australian woman who has apparent health problems

'She has a particular condition,' said Tim O'Leary, a lawyer for the Health Service Executive. 'That condition is specified and makes her vulnerable.'
Mr O'Leary said the woman is happy to stay where she is but supports are in place in adult psychiatric departments, including outside community placements.
The court was told yesterday that Ms Azzopardi may be at risk if she is released from care.
She had been in Ireland visiting a relative before going missing and being found on Dublin's O'Connell Street - the Irish capital's main shopping thoroughfare - in a distressed state on October 10.
Earlier, it emerged Irish police are considering charging Azzopardi with wasting their time and the massive investigation to identify her, which has involved 2,000 man hours and 115 separate lines of inquiry, cost Ireland an estimated £200,000.
Azzopardi was known to 'easily assume' the persona of an adolescent teenager, so was able to fool police into believing she was just 14 or 15 years old, the Irish Independent reported.

It was also claimed that Azzopardi was convicted in the Brisbane Magistrates Court in 2010 on two charges of making false representations, one charge of possession of a thing with intent to forge documents and one charge of contravening directions.
She was fined $500, to be paid if she reoffended in the following 12 months. Azzopardi was convicted the following month of four separate charges relating to false representations and given the same penalty.
It is understood she was last year convicted interstate for defrauding or deceiving to obtain welfare payments and sentenced to six months imprisonment, suspended for 12 months.

And in June last year she pleaded guilty in Perth Magistrates Court to three counts of opening an account with a cash dealer in a false name, one count of inducing a person to act and three counts of intent to defraud by deceit.
She was sentenced on October 2 last year to six months imprisonment, suspended for 12 months. The revelations come as a complex picture emerges of her.
A former boss described her as 'a lovely girl who had issues', while revelations of forgery convictions tell a more disturbing story.
Chris Nunes, the manager of a restaurant in southwest Sydney said she recognised Samantha Azzopardi's face on the television when Irish police released pictures of the 25-year-old as part of a global search to identify her.
Ms Nunes said she messaged her sister to say 'Oh my God, it's Sammy'.
'She used to work here for us. I saw (the photo of her) last night and then this morning I heard them say her name and I was like 'oh my god it is her',' Ms Nunes said.
Ms Azzopardi, who had relatives living in Sydney, was hired to work in the restaurant two years ago. She worked there for four or five months.
'I knew that she had some issues, that's why we let her go. She was a lovely girl. There was nothing I could say that she was a horrible person or anything, that's why I gave her the opportunity.
'When she left here she said she was going to travel overseas.'

Azzopardi's parents have been named as Bruce Azzopardi and Joanne Marie Campbell and she was said to have a brother named Gregory.

When her photograph was released worldwide this week, she was recognised by Joe Brennan who once was in a relationship with her mother and was living in Clonmel, Tipperary.

Population of Britain to soar by 10MILLION in just 25 years: Migrant families will push total to 73million

Britain must make room for almost 10million more people over the next 25 years, according to official estimates yesterday.
The increase, mainly a result of immigration and high migrant birthrates, will push numbers in the country to 73.3million by 2037.

It means England, already the most crowded country in Europe, needs to accommodate the equivalent of a city bigger than London in the next two and a half decades.

The controversial milestone of 70million – which one minister in the last Labour government promised would never happen – is likely to be reached in 2027, according to the Office for National Statistics projections.
There will be 4.3million extra people over just ten years between 2012 and 2022.
The projections show that despite a reduction in the scale of immigration, there has been no easing up of the rate at which the population is increasing.
The population is set to hit 73.3million in 2037 – 9.6 million higher than the 63.7 million estimated in the middle of last year.
Migration and particularly immigration from Eastern Europe is cited as the main cause. By comparison, the population rose by 6.8 million in the past 25 years.
Even though ‘net migration’ – the amount by which migration pushes the population up every year – is falling as a result of tighter government restrictions, the population estimates have not come down as a result.

How the UK population will top 73million

Baby boom: On average over the next 25 years, every woman will have 1.88 children, the projections said, compared to the 1.84 figure in the 2010 estimates

This is because the ONS discovered in the 2011 national census that it had under-counted numbers in the country by almost 500,000.
The great majority of the missed people were migrants from Poland and Eastern Europe who arrived after 2004, and whose arrival had never been officially noticed.
Other factors pushing the estimates up are rising life expectancy and rising fertility rates.
